April is Poetry Month... Let's celebrate! Here are some ideas to participate in Poetry Month

- Read a poem from a book in the library or on MackinVia ebook collection. Then, draw an image from the poem and share the drawing on Valley View Elementary facebook page, using the hashtag #PocketPoem - Post it in the comments.
- Record a video of yourself reading a poem, then share it Valley View Elementary facebook page, using the hashtag #PocketPoem - Post it in the comments.
- Email an age appropriate and kid friendly poem to your friends or family.
- Read a poem out loud from your porch, window, backyard or outdoor space.
Poem in Your Pocket Day 2023 will take place on April 27.
